HOW TO MAKE A DONATION

Contributions are normally tax-deductible. Not only will your gift help make the City of Fitchburg safer, but it can also help reduce your income or estate tax burden. There are a number of ways to give:

* Make an outright contribution of cash or appreciated securities

* Gifts from retirement plans offer particularly attractive tax benefits

* Make a gift contribution to celebrate a milestone or family event such as an anniversary

* Give a gift in honor of a family member

* Make a lasting memorial at the passing of a loved one

* Leave a bequest to the fund as part of your will and trust

* Name the fund as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, IRA, or charitable trust

It’s easy to donate online. Visit www.cfncm.org and go to the list of funds that the Community Foundation manages. Once you find the Fitchburg Police Support Fund, click on donate. All major credit cards are accepted.
